Reference I have a question for the board. The interim board has made reference to the fact that the Bylaws clearly state that the roads must be maintained by a licensed, bonded contractor. I have read the Bylaws I cannot find that reference anywhere in the bylaws. So if you could shed some light on this subject I would greatly appreciate it. Sheri
Here is Dave West's response: In answer to Sheri’s question. The board never stated that the roads must be maintained by a licensed, bonded contractor. The board stated that we did not want to hire anyone unless they were a licensed contractor and this is to protect the Association in case there are problems either legal or quality of work. With a licensed contractor there is some recourse, without going to court, if there are problems. It is simply good business. The Bylaws are mute to the question of requiring any contractor hired be licensed.
